NOTE: Please note that this rider is only to be used as a guideline.

A. TRANSPORTATION

    If ARTIST and purchaser agree that artist and contracted players are arriving by air,at PURCHASERS expense, PURCHASER shall provide GROUND TRANSPORTATION for ARTIST and entourage, plus luggage and instruments, etc... between airport, hotel, concert venue and return to airport upon departure.

B. ACCOMODATIONS

    If PURCHASER is providing HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS the following are required: Indivdual rooms for Deborah & all contracted players at a minimum of a four to five-star hotel preferrably with swimming pool, sauna and whirl pool. All rooms are to be NON SMOKING ROOMS. Meal allowances as needed.

C. HOSPITALITY

    PURCHASER shall provide two (2) comfortable and private DRESSING ROOMS, adequate for use by the contracted number of players with air-conditioner or fan, clothes rack, adequate lights and mirrors.

  • In dressing room, PURCHASER shall provide refreshments in quantities sufficient for the contracted number of players.
  • Assorted cold fruit juice and soda (diet and regular)
  • Spring water (no sparkling) both cold and at room temperature
  • Extra ice
  • Fresh fruits and nuts
  • Fresh coffee/tea with creamer and sugar
  • Granola or Nutrigrain fruit bars
  • Deli tray (cheeses, cold meats, vegetables, dips, etc....)
  • Napkins, forks, plates, etc...
  • To be provided at time to be arranged after sound-check or performance (Artist's preference);
  • HOT MEAL the contracted number of players to include:
    Chicken or fish; Vegetarian Entree; Potatoes, rice or pasta; Vegetables; Salad; Beverages including coffee; Bread; Dessert.

D. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Purchaser shall provide the following equipment at his sole expense and at no cost to the ARTIST:

    1. STAGE

      The stage must be a minimum of thirty-two feet (32') wide and twenty four feet (24') deep and 2-4 feet high. The stage must be flat, level, free or irregularities and must be accessible from the backstage dressing room area in a manner other than through the audience.

    2. SOUND

      a. PA SYSTEM

        A high quality stereo PA system suitable for the venue is required, sufficient in size to provide good coverage to all parts of the auditorium. Sound technician available at least 2 hours before performance unless specified earlier. Effects units, compression, and equalizers appropriate for the main and monitor mix.

      b. MIXING DESK

        It is preferred that the desk be CENTRALLY LOCATED in the AUDITORIUM. It should be of professional quality, 24 or 32 channel with 4 to 8 subgroups.

      c. MONITORS

        Six (6) monitors placed as shown on stage plan with at least 2 seperate mixes. Digital reverbs must be available for Deborah's monitor mix. See stage diagram.

      d. CD PLAYER/ DVD PLAYER/ PROJECTION SCREEN

      e. MICROPHONES

        Excellent quality cordless handheld mike for Deborah (Sennheiser or comparable quality)
        Excellent quality vocal boom mike at piano for Deborah (Sennheiser or comparable quality)
        2 AKG 414's or comparable on grand piano (C3000's O.K.)
        Kit mics to include D112 or comparable and SM57's or comparable
        2 active DI boxes (good quality)
        Other mikes as specified on stage diagram for additional contracted instrumentalists

    3. BACKLINE (for flyouts)

      Acoustic Grand Piano (at least 6') tuned to A440 prior to sound check and performance, sturdy piano bench
      Keyboard gear: 88 key weighted Roland A90,Kurzweil PC88 or Roland RD600; Roland XP60 or 80, Apex 2 tier stand, midi cables, mixer (Mackie preferred), Roland KC500 keyboard amp or comparable; seat.
      Bass : 210 cabinet with horn (Eden, SWR or Acme B2)
      Guitar : Fender hotdog deluxe, Mesa Boogie or Crate or Roland Blues Cube (1 12); Fender or Gibson Guitar with humbucker pickup
      Drums: 4 pc. basic set (2 toms, Bass drum, Snare--Yamaha or Pearl or comparabale), 2 cymbal stands, High hat stand, throne
      5 matching chairs for instrumentalists, 7 sturdy black music stands with lights

    4. PROPS

      Stool (30"), Small table for props

    5. LIGHTING

      Club: Lighting sufficient for stage to include a three (3) color wash and at least four (4) specials and follow spot.
      Concert: 2 Truss System of 48 to 120 par. 1K watt (with respect to venue). Four color washes. 6 specials. Follow spot.
      All operators for lighting systems and and intercom system between the house sound, follow spot, monitor console and light console. Also, VIDEO OPERATOR may be requested
