| CASUALS • Deborah has played at numerous private events (including Knotts and Disney). She has worked solo, adding drum machine and keyboard bass, and as a bandleader, creating her own charts and hiring side players in for larger events.
HOTELS, CLUBS, PIANO BARS, DINNER HOUSES • Deborah has performed in many of the Southern California 5-star hotels, combining piano and vocals, or just solo piano. Her very strong piano skills compliment her beautiful, expressive voice. Especially popular on her large playlist are the showtunes she performs.
WEDDINGS • Deborah has performed at hundreds of weddings, many times helping coordinate the music and ceremony. Her repertoire spans the Classical to the Pop genre and she plays piano, organ or keyboard, and sings. Her knowledge of the hymns, and extensive church background, which is important to her, make her very capable of many different types of ceremonies.
ARRANGER • Deborah does most of the basic arranging for her shows and band, working extensively with FINALE, one of the top music notation programs. She has access to top orchestrators for larger projects.
STUDIO • Deborah has produced seven of her own album projects, using her own studio for her demo and pre-production work. She is a part of a film network and has had jobs to demo songs for films that were needed on quick notice. In 1998, she composed and recorded the music for an instructional video, distributed nationally. Deborah works with Digital Performer and a Roland S-760 sampler, as well as many other sound modules to create demos before going into a larger studio. She just received a Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities grant to begin recording her first full original musical.
